Local, veteran-owned, and accountable to our neighbors

Our story

Bugged Out Pest Control was founded with one goal: give Bakersfield homeowners a pest control company that shows up when it says it will, tells the truth about what it finds, and stands behind the work. No national call center, no rotating technicians, no upsells.

We have spent years learning the specific pest pressures of the Central Valley: the Argentine ant supercolonies that thrive in our summers, the brown widows spreading through our block walls, the roof rats that move into attics every October, and the German roaches that ride into apartments in moving boxes. That local knowledge is why our treatments work the first time.

When you call, you talk to someone local. When a technician shows up, they know your neighborhood. And when the job is done, we guarantee it.

What veteran-owned means here

The company is founded and run by a U.S. military veteran. In practice that means discipline about showing up on time, doing the job to a standard rather than to a clock, and being straight with customers even when the honest answer is "you don't need that service."
